I had the 114060, then the SubC and now have the Hulk. I love the black and may get another one day(114060) but I absolutely LOVE my Hulk. Its not my only Rolex though. I have the 116613LB sunburst and the Explorer(39mm).

Black = timeless
Remember thinking how good the orange Omega looked a few years ago. Now it's a different story. |

Saw the Hulk on an AD's wrist the other day and it was sunbursting like crazy, made him take it off so I could try it amidst all the gold Pateks we were looking at Would be my choice, esp if you live anywhere that gets a bit of sun.

Both are great, but to me there is something special about Rolex green. Having said that, I am surprised to see that this vote is so close. I was expecting the black to be more popualr

I voted green - it is an awesome watch and I'm on the hunt to re-purchase one now that funds allow a small collection :)

I've had both at one point and eventually sold them both, but I am more fond of the hulk as the bezel/dial combo is truly spectacular in sunlight.

Much prefer the green and for me not even close. Now make it a Submariner 114060 and that would be tough!

Black As part of 2 watch collection.
The green dial/green bezel is a great piece to own, but I feel add it as part of an on going Collection. I owned the green when first released, but flipped last year as it wasn't getting much wear, but now it's gone I do miss it. Black is a true classic |

I voted 'black', but to be honest it was a close call. Many years ago when I knew little about Rolex I would have been a certain 'black', however the more I understand the product the more I quite fancy owning the 'Hulk'...
Ask again in a few months (when I've actually seen one), then I might vote 'green'! |

Black is the classic Rolex that is an icon, it is also versatile and great with a rubber strap for summer comfort.
Unless you are starting a collection with a least 3 pieces, then I can suggest the hulk 116610LV, which btw is not the 50th anniversary Kermit model 16610LV.

makes no sense Most people go the opposite route, buy a basic black sub and put in a green bezel to try and pass it off as the more desirable LV version. Just sayin'... |

La-de-da-de-everybody has the black. Great reference but go for the green. It pops! The dial alternates to appear black in certain lighting too.
That bezel and dial are gorgeous. |

The 16610 LV is gorgeous, discontinued and is a classic. Get it while it's hot but not before it becomes too hard to source a good example. |
