Not sure why, but PP seems to attract people with a sense of humor. So I will hang here for a bit, until I get the inevitable boot for being a poseur/pretender.

Sauvignon Blanc is the rage but in my opinion Pinot Grigot is worth a look.

I had a nice Malbec the other day. It was from a small vineyard called Govberg. Year 5522. Heard that was a great year for Malbecs.

They were very nice but prefer to keep what was said private.

I'm more curious if govberg said anything after all this. I understand if you want details private though... thats great Patek reached out as they didn't really have to.

That's a little harsh considering the lack of factual evidence that would prove they are guilty of some of the fraudulent practices that some on this forum are accusing them of. Let's remember that they were a favorite AD on this forum in the not too distant past.

I will ask the same two questions I asked previously to a similar comment.

1) Do you think the OP is telling the truth?

2) If your answer to Q1 is yes- Do you think his treatment was fair and consistent with an AD experience you would tolerate?

Lots of other questions and accusations but fundamentally it is this simple. I completely believe the OP and consequently would not want to work with the AD that treated him that way. If you have a different standard or expectation that is absolutely fine and all the best.

1) Yes.
2) I really think however sucky the AD's practices were in this particular transaction, I think his situation could have been resolved offline between the OP and the AD. But that is just my opinion.
3) This thread should be locked by the moderator.

TBH it would be a shame to end this thread without some form of update on Patek or Govberg actions after this?!

i have a feeling their sales they have listed on TRF will decline. Other than that, thats probably the best we can hope for.

I am as surprised they didn't close this thread as that they banned Socal (if true). Seems like a hockey or football play where they flag the one who retaliates.
