Camille Fournet on my 5227

The stock glossy PP strap was really a downer and was causing me to not love my 5227.
I switched to a nice matte Camille Fournet strap about a month ago.It is so much better and my love for my 5227 has returned.
I highly recommend the switch!

Unfortunately your photography doesn’t show us much other than what your 5227 looks like!
A few photos in natural light would be of more use.

You really will not see the difference in the strap other then it's matte and not hard. It really is about comfort.

Two strap shots - the main difference is the comfort!

I believe they do as well. The matte finish is softer and flexible , also the holes are in slightly different places.

Glad it brought energy back to the piece for you. About 6 months ago I put a CF on my 5196. I did it only to switch to a brown strap for a more casual look during the summer, but I really loved it, so I've left it on.

Did you know that Camille F. makes all Patek straps?

Best, Kari

Although CF makes OEM Patek straps, they sell them for less at their Paris store without the Patek label. They had quite a selection in their store when I visited them a few months ago.

Cellini and Wempe have a large selection in NYC. I went up to CF in NYC and talked to them for awhile even though that do t sell to the public.

You're not alone. I just swapped out my black glossy strap for a matte brown one last week. -Walked over to Henri Stern in NYC. I love the 5227 even more!

Looks great! Really love how a strap change can totally alter the look of a watch
