I'll certainly be there for the after-beer but West ham're playing at home that day so I'll probably be heading up after the footy.....

Looking at the fixtures you have Stoke on the 5th Nov so that should be good for you The followed by Spurs, ManU, Gooners and Liverpool. I think you'll need Alan Devonshire, Billy Bonds and Frank Lampard Senior for that run

Look forward to catching up with you

How frustrating, it's my birthday on the 4th and Salon QP completely passed me by.

It would have been the perfect excuse to go that my wife simply wouldnt be able to say "no" to.

Will all of you lucky attendees post a write up of the day/evening/cocktail events and what you believe are best value tickets to get etc - with plenty of pics and wrist shots of course.

If i'm a little more organised i'll be able to attend next year.

For now, i'll just have to live it vicariously through you.

Probably won't be able to make it. As it's bonfire night I'll be taking some nieces and nephews to the fireworks. Please give my regards to the Fricker cases and ETA movements though.

...There in spirit!

Fellas,

Going to have to take a pass on this for '16 but should be able to make up for it in '17. Going forward I think this will be an "every other year" event for me since there's a wee bit of travel/logistics involved (that is until my work takes me back to regular London jaunts, then you'll never get rid of me!).

Sorry to miss out this year and looking forward to seeing pics from the pub and event!

Best to all!

I heroically did a full recce of Salon QP last night (always one to go above and beyond the call of duty for the forum!), there are some interesting pieces to look at. The L.U.C Chopard stand has a great selection, and it's worth speaking to Fellows (they had a couple of interesting vintage pieces, a 6241 and a 1655 stood out for me). There's also a small display of dive watches on the ground floor, some cool and unusual items from Panerai, Rolex, Tudor and Blancpain.

Do give the whiskey cocktails a go as well, but they are dangerously moreish!

Look forward to seeing everyone at the pub on Saturday

Chris

Shame I won't be there to see you all. I too did a CQR of Salon QP as I was up in town today. To be honest I thought it was very underwhelming with very few notable brands. The selection of world timers and the dive watches were my favourites but neither display had anything you couldn't see for free down Bond Street. Anyway, enjoy it tomorrow chaps and I hope to catch up soon.

I thought It was great to see some brands I can't normally see in one go. Andersen great world times and fascinating automatons, Urban Jorgensen on my bucket list, Voutilainen not his greatest selection but good to catch up, FP Journe himself was there and good to see the PC although Eilluams & Sons gave one, Grossmsn and Ferrier easybyo see Roger Dmith was cool....generally Many brands I have little interest (montblanc etc) but enjoyed it

Sorry I couldn't make it in the end gents, Kerry had her last chemo' session on Thursday but she became unwell while the boys and I were at the footy....
Long story short her temperature and hear-rate both soared so she had to get to hospital ASAP.
After she was pumped full of steroids and anti-biotics everything thankfully returned to normal and we got home about 3am this morning....

Hope all went well though chaps and hope see you all in the summer.

Hi Dan,
Sorry to hear Kerry wasn't so well. Hope she is over the worst now.
Paul and I tried to make up for you absence...........and failed miserably

A few of the old faces returned: Steve (Diamond Jack) and Chris (GMT Master) and Geert (SteveClocks) plus half the population of Belgium.

To be honest QP was a bit lame, I think that every year and still go back

What I will say is the two seminars on vintage watches/history of aviation watches Steve and I attended were worth the admission price

The after show gathering was great, however I think very few of the gang are posting photos here; its all Instagram now

Hope to see you at the next one.
