Incoming 3570.40
Had been casually looking for a speedy and really liked the 3570.40 with the racing dial. They don't come up that often Hodinkee had one on their Friday feature from HQ milton and it sold in an hour for $5500 with no papers. Then I found one all complete and pretty unworn but they guy wanted $7500!resorted to just doing a dial swap...
Even was in Tokyo and asked everywhere and ppl just laughed or shook their head. Then while in Miami of all places one pop'ed up. it was head only but had the original hand tag and the serials all matched up! I paid what I think was fair considering they don't show up often and I was in town. Been love ever since. the color combo IRL is stellar and and the pics online can't even compare. been wearing it non-stop and its kindled a desire for more speedy's! Bought a 1125 for it (need proper end links, can anyone help? called around none avail) and love the 1125 its a cross between a jubilee and sub bracelet. Also looks IMO way better on a 1125 then the current polished ones they come with... Last edited by Oren; 29 December 2016 at 10:59 AM.. Reason: image |

I went through similar hell trying to find my 2225.80 Seamaster Chronograph. Years ago I had no clue these Omega watches would be so difficult to find. This only makes us cherish them that much more and hang onto them for life. Here's to the search being over
