Vintage Omega 120M "Big Blue"

I thought I'd show you this vintage Omega 120M I picked up recently just in case you haven't seen one before.

Known as the Big Blue, it's from the mid seventies.

Beast of a watch.

Cheers

Okay, a wee bit more on this.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe this is the first Automatic Chronograph Diver from early to mid seventies.

It's basically a flightmaster case with a rotating bezel, 44mm and very tall. You can work out most of the functions of the Cal 1040 by looking at it, just note the small arrow on the 9 Sub Dial, indicating Day or night.

It came to me as a full set including purchase receipt. Options were on a flightmaster bracelet, mesh or Isofrane.

Pics below including along side the modern monster POC.

Great pair of watches! That 9300 could very well be my next watch. It's got just about everything I could want. Having the full set for that vintage makes it that much nicer.

I agree, for the price, the 9300 is a lot of watch.

I've had the previous, 3313 I believe, in Orange, three Sub Dials and also had an orange 9300 but I'm liking this black 9300 over the orange versions.
