Dealer Cost

Hi folks! It is no secret on TRF that dealer cost for a Rolex is 62% of the MSRP. However, can someone please tell me what is dealer cost for an Omega? I searched, and could not find updated information. A Google search revealed that some years back it was 55% of the MSRP. However, I am not certain if this is accurate. I would really appreciate updated and accurate information. Thank you.

No one knows in the Omega Forum? Happy Holidays to all, and a prosperous New Year.

Sadly I have no idea but for some reason I wouldn't be surprised if Omega and other brands had numbers similar to that of Rolex. Somewhere between 50-60% would seem like a decent guess. Hopefully someone can confirm the actual Omega dealer cost as I too would love to know

Thank you. However, I wonder how the grey market is able to sell BNIB units for less than AD cost.

Probably because ADs want to dump all the excess inventory they have. Omega makes too many watches to begin with.

This. It just doesn't make sense to consistently see grey market below AD cost. How many AD's can be offloading at a loss on a continuous basis. Unless there's a regular stream of ADs liquidating.

Interested to hear if someone has the number also. Or if the 60% can be confirmed by others.

My understanding on Omega watches, as well as Panerai, Mount Blanc, Tag and several others that there are different price tiers. It depends on the movement. Some as low as 52% up to close to 70%. Also remember that some of the dealer inventory has been sitting for awhile and while the MSRP has gone up the price they paid was under a different price structure.

This makes sense.
