Thank you for sharing. Laos is where I was born. Our family left not long after the US pulled out of Vietnam. I was too young when I left and don't know much about the history behind the trial. I do watch whatever comes up on documentary series. Laos is a beautiful country and these photos really show just what a peaceful country she is today.

Some stunning and beautiful photographs. It really does capture the resourcefulness and ingenuity of the Vietnamese people. Thank you for sharing.

How do long did you stay? Did you travel the trail via your motorbike? Any problems along the way in such remote areas?

I didn't mean to give the wrong impression I'm just posting this as something I ran across and thought some at TRF might appreciate.

Judging by the way people dressed, I can safely say that they are all Lao people.

There was a documentary produced recently on the world' most dangerous roads and this was one of them. There are literally thousands of unexplored bombs along the trail and sadly, each year a lot of kids are killed playing in the fields.
