Never been a DayDate or DateJust kinda guy....

....and then I stumbled upon this pic from "Get Carter" and re-assessed the situation.

Queue, I was being a tad facetious, as I was, admittedly, distracted by the cuff links...and the shotgun...and that it's pretty badass film.

That said, I would definitely go SS rather than gold for any watch.

Yeah that is a cool watch, but then again, every watch would look cool on 70's Michael Caine.
