T19 Superdome on 5513 ?
Is superdome T19 the original plexi for a 1967's 5513 ? I've got a service plexi on mine (changed 8 years ago) and I want to replace it by a year matching one...
Thanks |

To my knowledge there are 3 crystals available for the 5513:
T19 super dome T19 normal dome T 19 service dome The difference being in how domed or rounded the top of the crystal is. My 5513 has a t19 normal dome as shown. It is an original one owner piece and the dome has never been replaced. Perhaps experts can elaborate |

T19 Superdome on 5513 ?
You pretty much covered it. It is next to impossible to find a genuine super dome these days at any price. Actually lucky to find a dome in good or nos condition. Pretty much only service dome or aftermarket are available at this point. I know some sellers advertise "gen" superdomes but I have not seen a "real" one for sale for many years.

All super dome 19 advertised as NOS are aftermarket.
The only way to get used super domes is to take them off old watches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Gileto, sorry for jumping on your thread, but I was wondering the same thing myself. I have '66 Sub, and always wondered exactly what crystal it's fitted with. Any definitive answers?
Cheers! |

the taller sidewalls and domed top very much make your crystal look like a superdome. It's a very nice crystal and look to your watch. Enjoy!

Good deal for $220?
Sure.... If it was sealed but if it is loose, what's the difference between yours and this one for $40? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Dome-C...item1a0139fb95 $180 I can think of many ways to use $180
