I am not a date just guy but the font on the date wheel is fine. Its the magnification that is off. The dial is most likely fake or real with added stones. The crystal might not have been installed correctly or they used the wrong gasket and it is sitting wrong causing the magnification to be off. One other thing is the way the SEL sits. There is a bit too much room on the bottom lug and the bracelet looks like its a different type of SS. Typical for knock offs. So I believe you are correct. Oh and also the rehaut seems to not be there. It looks like just a reflection to me of the dial.

Going to be the only one to safe that is a gen watch with potentially aftermarket dial plots which is very common for that model, and the small mag rolex has been having issues on for years, so you can't say anything about that in terms of authentication.
Rehaut looks fine. The SEL fitment on that watch is actually one of the few ways to suggest it is an authentic Rolex case and bracelet. That fit and finish looks gen. My question is to the OP, why do you care? Why don't you just ask him? |
