Had a great time meeting all of you. Saw a nice variety of Rolexes. Enjoyed our visit to Gearys too. We need to do this again!

As has been stated by others above, it was another great Beverly Hills GTG. I think as many people turned out for this one as turned out for last's year's record-breaker. What a pleasure! So many friendly, interesting and enthusiastic people!

Thanks are due to the following, who generously donated gifts so that we could have a terrific raffle:

Scott (scombs263) for the amazing and beautiful watch rolls
Larry (Frosty) for the snazzy NATO watch strap
Abraham (Dolphanz) for two cool polo shirts from his body shop
Jill and John (Mr. and Mrs. Locutus49) for a copy of The Rake magazine
and someone I can't remember, who donated a Rolex magazine—please, identify yourself.

Every one of these people stepped up without being asked, and I will always be grateful.

Late-Breaking News: Steve (nyc2la) has offered to host next year's GTG at Mastro's, and he insists on paying for everybody. I don't know why. Something about butter cake. Anyway, let's start thanking him now so he can't back out of it.

Marrk, I brought the Rolex magazine (Volume 4 on the Day Date). It was just a small gesture. Thanks again to you for organizing and to the others who provided all the other very generous gifts. And, that Mastros bill would equal a new DD40!

P.S. The butter cake at Mastros is incredible!

Maybe I ought to invest in a plaid shirt company.

Great pictures, Larry. Thanks.

Steve is in Australia, riding motorcycles and talking to beautiful Australian women. Where we'd be if we had any sense.

My wife and I loved this GTG. The food was superb and the people were even better. Everyone was interesting. My wife was happy that the discussion veered from watches to everything else. Thank you Marrk for organizing this successful event.

It was the fanciest hotel we have stayed in. Beverly Wilshire room had separate bathrooms for each of us. Amazing.

And the breakfast was phenomenal, the best we had ever had. For us it was truly an extraordinary experience.

Good to hear it. Glad it worked out.

You'll just have to make our group one of your regular stops. La Jolla's nice, but we know something about having fun up here in The Big Orange, too.

I guess there will be a bitting war. Because I'm still debating on offering something for it right now.
