Cermit or GMT

I was wondering:

Which would you rather have?
Which is more desirable?

A Cermit or a GMT?

Thank you

I prefer a GMT, the CHNR or BLRO WG. My preference is my GMT Meteorite but the blue dial is also great! Of course the LV is also great. Actually, you can’t go wrong with either.

More desirable? That depends who you ask.

Get the watch YOU want, not what a bunch of randos on the internet say...

For everyday wear, I would choose the LV with its fully brushed links

If you do much traveling or need to frequently refer to a second time zone like GMT, then a GMT is a no-brainer.

GMT is more upscale and flashy. Sub is more sporty.

Just traded my LVc in on a GMT BLNR/jubilee. Two completely different personalities of watches yet both could be your one and only.
GMT wears lighter on the wrist and sits a bit more comfortable on my wrist.
As far as market?….. It appears the SS GMT is ticking up a bit more and selling a bit quicker than the ss Sub line currently but that really shouldn’t matter. That said it might be an optimal time to buy a Sub if that’s what you decide on.

The Sub LV for me. I have no use for other time zones, when I travel I'm only interested in where I am.

If had to choose between the 2 it would be the GMT.

I prefer the Submariner LV.
Better case proportions, Glidelock and brushed bracelet.

I‘d go with the LV. Glidelock for me is one of the best things Rolex has made so far! And the green bezel is also fine looking ;)

Whichever comes first from your AD, but I would prefer the GMT.

It depends. Do you plan on one watch as a daily? If so GMT is more versatile. If you like to mix it up you need both in your collection. 20 years ago, a submariner was a better bet for resale. Now it seems like GMTs have higher prices on secondary market.

GMT, especially the BLNR would go with more than the LV but both are awesome watches. Really has more to do with your lifestyle, sporty vs blingy and color preference. Jubilees shows less scratches.

In my almost 40 years of owning Rolex I’ve had two GMTs and zero Subs. I love my BLRO, good for almost all occasions.

GMT for me! Cermit has really never excited me very much. Now if the choice was a Hulk, I would really have to reconsider.

Some days, my heart leans towards an LV, and some days it leans towards a BLRO. Never towards a BLNR. If the BLRO fixed a few things that I have a gripe about, I’d pick the BLRO every time.
