Unlimited Dealer purchases will get you?
If someone went into a dealer and is willing to buy whatever jewelry they want to throw at them, does everyone think they get whatever Rolex watches they want?
Maybe $100,000-$250,000 in jewelry and other brands of watches My guess would be that one could get almost anything EXCEPT Rainbow Daytona, Meteorite Daytona, Meteorite Pepsi and Platona Opinions?? |

Considering one of the ADs in my area sells Patek, and another sells Lange, if I'm going to drop that kind of money to try and butter up to get watches I'd rather try to get a Patek or a Lange.

I’m thinking, if presented properly to the store owner, they could leverage that buy for any watch the AD can get.
-I’d go grey before making that deal though. Ymmv. |

It’s a hypothetical scenario for 99% of us. For the other 1%, it’s just normal to them.

If my resources were unlimited, I'd walk into an AD with a list
Hand them the list and simply say "what do i need to do to make this happen?" |

I’d just go gray and get the watch I want. Far less expensive

In today's world, 100-250k is actually not much at an AD.
And yes 250k is sufficient to get you any one of SS rolex today, however there are probably another 20 other guys who are also waiting for the same piece with similar spend hisotry.

Dealers love to get you to purchase whatever they can sell you.
Getting on "the list" by falling for that sales racket is iffy at best. Do not expect the dealer to come through for you, although sometimes that does occur. It is all a game of cat and mouse in today's watch-world.
