Incoming! 126610LV
I’m thrilled to have my latest addition, the Rolex 126610LV. The Submariner LV, or “Lunette Verte,” has a rich history dating back to its introduction at Baselworld in 2003.
The iconic green bezel made its debut with the 16610LV. This marked Rolex’s 50th-anniversary celebration of the Submariner. The green bezel captured the attention of enthusiasts everywhere, earning it the nickname “Kermit.” Fast forward to the present, and I find myself in possession of the latest iteration, the Rolex 126610LV. Beyond the green bezel, it houses the Caliber 3235 movement with a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day and 70 hours of power reserve. And I love that the redesigned case reflects the timeless Submariner lines. Here’s to the next chapter in the legacy of this legendary Sub! Wrist shots soon.

Thank you everyone! Much appreciated. A number of people mentioned MKII; the change in bezel color is what got me to finally pull the trigger. I also missed having a Sub.
I think this reference truly brings together all the best aspects of the Sub’s story in one watch; from the nostalgia it invokes to the modern manufacturing technology that Rolex uses. Few if any can compete. |
