Getting solicitation PM's from member

Hi,

Is it acceptable for a member who represents a business to PM me if I express interest in buying a new watch? The member in question doesn't sell watches on TRF (has no feedback or posts for sale) but does post ordinary posts.

I personally don't like the practice but don't want to make a stink about it, if its within the bounds of what's allowed.

It's ok unless the business they represent is banned from TRF, or had its selling privileges suspended. It's likely to happen if you say you are in the market for a certain watch. You can put them on ignore if you don't want to hear from them again.

With all the scammers around it may make sense to check they are really who they say they are.
