Yes I think you need to put yourself limits, when I will have 5 which is next June as I have 3 incomings until then, and I want a watch I will need to decide which watch has to go, if I love them too much to let them go, then there will be no incoming, I had 10 watches at one point and only wore 3, ok they weren't as cool as the ones I have and will have, mostly Pams and Rolex plus a few others, they were never worn and in the bank, I think with the watches I will have; AP CE diver, PP 5712, PP 5711, PP 5167R and one from a very small independent, a rotation is possible, all are watches I really love and thought about for a long time before buying, and I think 2 per year is reasonable

Thats going to be a really good collection when you have them all. My only comment would be that I cant see my self owning both the 5711 and the 5712 at the same time. Seems redundant to me as they are similar but thats just me.

Yes but it's my favorite SS watches, and I would like to wear my 5712 not too often for it to not be too scratched after a few years, even if I am very careful

Funny everyone has a different number in their watch collection. Someone tried to keep it to 3....impossible.
My magic # is 8.....a couple are vintage as collectors, still where them on occasion. But I wear them all.

+1. There's no way I'd ever choose to wear a 5711 if I had a 5712 in the same watch box, the 11's just too boring-looking in comparison. I've toyed with the idea of buying an 11 as a "safe queen" or "investment", but rejected that idea as well, because there are far better investments out there.

The 5712 is super nice! Sometimes I am tempted to sell what I have, get one of those and call it a day.

To your question, a Daytona would fit in well. I prefer black though.

Well I guess I will find out, but when Insee good pics of one I am in awe as well, especially if it gets a tuning this year, would love a bluer dial and frame on the date, we'll see, if I never wear it then it will leave, the idea of having a watch some people wait years to get is cool also

I love the 5712 dial because of the complications but yeah there is something magic about the blue of the 5711. If they were merged it would be perfect lol

Is the dial the same colour or is it just all the 5712 complications preventing the same blue hue.

Ive also thought about just flogging all my lot and going for a Aqua 5167 and 5712
