Which Aqua Terra for business wear

I saw the Aqua Terra 8500 in person for the first time recently and really was impressed. I really like the blue dial without the PCL. However , I wear a suit at work, and I am concerned that the blue dial might stand out too much to my customers. What do you guys think? Should I consider another color dial?

Pick the watch that you love and want to wear every day. Don't pick a watch that you don't love as much just because you think some of your customers might notice it. In reality they won't and you will be wearing a watch that you don't entirely love and will always be wishing you had bought the blue dial. Customers who do notice an Aqua Terra will probably be into watches anyway and it may even add to your relationship with them if they are into watches too.
In reality 99% of people don't notice or don't care what watch you are wearing.
That's just my advice and opinion anyway. Make of it what you will.

Personally, I can't see how a blue dial would upset any customers. If you like the watch then go for it.

Personally I feel blue is more bang for the buck. The different shades it exudes under different lighting is unique and can't be beat.

The blue and teak dials are my favorites in that lineup. I grew up in Bham and can't see anyone there noticing a blue dial AT and having a negative view. Gold or jewel encrusted maybe, but on SS and blue.

I went with the blue dial Master Co-Axial with the PCL's.

I also wear suits pretty regularly to work.

The PCL's actually grew on me and I now prefer them. I have no plans to brush them out.

But my favorite combo that I have switched to full time now that the summer heat is over is the OEM blue gator strap.

If you wear your GMT IIc and it is not an issue, then you will be fine with the AT. Good luck, it's a great piece.

Any of the AT dials would be at home in a business environment. I think the blue is my favourite. Are you concerned about it standing out in terms of people noticing you own an Omega? Or, is your concern the blue colour isn't comservative enough? It's sort of a chameleon in that the exact hue changes considerably in different lighting. On of my co-workers owns one. It's never what I would consider an overly bright or gaudy blue, however.

You can wear this with anything from jeans to a suit and it looks fantastic. YMMV.

I own a Blue AT 8500. There is NO WAY that the blue dial will stand out in any sort of negative way to customers. It's essentially a beautiful conservative watch. Much of the time, it's a dark midnight blue, almost black. And when the color changes to a slightly lighter, brighter blue due to the lighting or angle, the watch is never gaudy or pretentious or out of place. Plus, the vast majority of people out there don't notice watches anyways.

I chose the blue exactly because it looks more dressy for business wear.

The blue AT is pretty conservative compared to the chronographs and dive watches people wear nowadays. I've worn my vintage Mickey Mouse watch under a suit, I don't care if people notice!

Agree with others' comments - that is a beautiful blue color and is not offensive to look at.
