Repair advice needed

It fell from his pocket while he was doing something at the gym, hit the cinderblock wall, and well the damage to the lug can be seen. (It looks like there's a chunk out of the bezel in one photo but it must be a reflection as that's not in the other photo.)

He's NOT interested in "just wear it with the battle scar" advice.

I offered to search out recommendations for craftspeople who -- I think the process is -- can add steel back to the case and then return it to relatively as-original look and condition. At least I think I've heard of such a technique and that in some cases it can be hard to detect.

Or any other advice as to how to remedy? I have no idea what RSC would do. (It's about a year old.)

Ouch. Sorry to hear / see. There are groups that can laser weld and fix the case. Can’t remember the names off hand but I’m sure others will chime in.

Repair advice needed - my friend f'ed his DEEPSEA

Mike Hui at Rolliworks …I think he’s the best in the business now. LAWW used to be my #1. I’m sure they are still very good I just prefer Mike.

Rick is also very good, he’s based out of Florida. I forget his shops name though

Rolliworks. I had a similar issue with my BLNR and they exceeded my expectations

I've gotten some advice that Rolliworks might be much more cost-effective for laser welding than some other places.

Any confirmation?

Very reasonable when I did it a few years ago. I can’t remember exactly what I paid but I remember I wanted to add more because I didn’t think the charge was enough

Depending on what was done . . . that sounds awfully reasonable.

That can be made to look like new. It’s an amazing process.

It’ll be interesting to see some photos once done of how it looks, I’m sure it’ll be made to look like new again.

Interested in watching how this plays out.
My sub fell from the bathroom counter onto the tile floor years ago, dinging the case.
