Avenger Skyland

Not sure how many of you guys are Breitling fans on here, but Breitling is coming out with the Avenger Skyland in about 5 months. My store happened to exclusively carry it 5 months before the rest gets it. We got one in last week and it sold the first day. It is a very sharp looking watch. If at all familiar with the Avenger, this looks similar to it, but I shall let the image describe itself.

This one is available in black, gray, and white dials. All in high polished SS with Proffessional II bracelet.

This watch is also available in AMAZING black steel finish. I have not yet seen one in person nor have I seen pictures of the black steel bracelet. I do however have a picture of the case. The black steel is a limited edition and I almost doubt I will get any more than 1 or 2.

This is a very bad cell phone pic I took at work from a one and only NEW Breitling catalog we have in the store.

Thoughts?

Saw a guy that had one on TZ, looked awesome!!

I have recently become smitten with a particular Breitling, could be on the wrist by middle of next week if all goes well.

I think that is a very cool looking watch for sure.

Already paid for it, but if I have to wait, so does everyone else.

It will be my first Breitling, but I am very excited and got a nice deal from my AD. She is also my Panerai AD, so she knows I am a good customer, too good according to my wife.

Non chrono, but still large. C'mon dude, I am a Paneristi, I like things somewhat simple. You can figure it out, but hush.

That's a fine Avenger alright. My CA looks similar except for the arabic fonts.

Any photos of the caseback? Anything new there?

Another beautiful Breitling design, but those busy dials absolutely kill me. Same with the Daytonas and the Speedmaster Professionals. Too much clutter. It leads me to a serious question...does the average Breitling/Omega owner actually ever USE those different chronos and gauges?

Does the average Rolex owner use the bezel for timing things? I think most owners would all answer, nope.

Very true, Daren. BUT, the bezel doesn't crowd the dial and distract from the most important function of wristwatch...telling the darn time.

Tell the saturation diver that the time is more important than the bezel.

And the saturation diver can still perform that function with an SD or Sub, and STILL have an uncrowded dial.
Now stop being so intentionally contrary!!!

LOL!

I was just thinking that I have owned tons of chrono's, divers and pilot watches and only use all of them to tell time. LOL!

I like all watches, sometimes a little clutter is good, sometimes even a second hand on the watch is too much.

I use the chronos a lot as I like to time things. As for the Bezel on my SD, I use it to time things as well.

LOL!

I use it to time my steaks (4 min per side) to get a medium rare, and also to time my travel.

How much longer before you get this piece, and what will it cost? It looks sharp! Thanks!

that watch is too busy for me, but i do have an older Superocean(getting serviced right now), not sure of year(maybe 5-10 yrs. old?)with a black dial that is vintage and gorgeous, and Breitling makes beautiful shiny bracelets...heavy duty watches that make a statement. Good luck with your new one!
