My assumption was also a mothership employee(not AD), regardless I like Bas and always enjoyed his technical perspective. The forum misses him or at least the portion of the forum that enjoys the intricacies of these fine timepieces. It is a better place with people like him around!

I had the pleasure of meeting Bas in one of my trips to Amsterdam. He was a fine gentleman and I sincerely hope is well and doing fine. I do miss him on the forum. I just have one question though…

How come nobody misses me when I don’t post for a while?

I do Paul. I just don't let you know about it.......

I went dark for three weeks while in Europe last month. Not a peep from anyone checking on my welfare.

I could have been kidnapped and no one would care. Except my sons, they're fighting over what watches they get...........

And while we are on the topic of missing sailors, have you heard anything from Jesse lately?

I was wondering where you were, Eddie - that's the honest to God truth too!

Glad it was because you were enjoying yourself away from this raucous crowd...especially Paul.

Woke up thinking about Bas because I miss his posts... Has he been back on the forum since this thread was last updated?
