Vintage Cartier Santos Sunglasses
Wondering if anyone else is into Vintage 18K Cartier Santos sunglasses? Just had new lenses ordered and installed at a Cartier retailer. Not positive, but I think these date from around 1983 which was the first year (correct me if I'm wrong)? I am missing one of the 18K screws but otherwise they are pretty mint. They are quite over the top (large as well at 62-14), Greed was indeed good in the 80's
Just thought I'd share, see if anyone else has similar interest |

Those are really sharp. I imagine they're heavy though.
They way I lose sunglasses, I might as well hand some stranger cash |

Ya they are definitely heavy, I am very tough on sunglasses as well lol! They are definitely not daily's. I tend to wear them when I wear my Santos Watch (How cheesy is that lol)

The only thing that has ever thrown me off with these, I have yet to find another Cartier polishing cloth like that, so kinda scratch my head on that one.. No clue if that's what they actually came with

Those are really nice. My wife bought me a pair of Cartier Santos Dumont (photo from the net) sunglasses about 4 years ago. I only wear occasionally for fear of losing them. 😄 Cheers, Tim
