Great story. The watch looks so nice now. I, too, have my father's watch and there are pictures of him wearing it when holding me as a baby or playing when I was a child. Cool links to the past, for sure.

Saturday drive
Some quick pictures while out for am drive yesterday. Fail on getting both watch and car into focus at same time but an out of focus gilt dial is still rather pretty.

3.2L twin plug with Mahle pistons, custom ported heads, 46 PMO's. Makes 310hp/277ft/lb torque. 2200lbs Gearbox with guard straight cut race gears. Gated shifter RSR finned brakes with 993TT rotors Coil over suspension Elephant racing oil system Custom interior Period correct looking but as fast as 991S. Very fun and well sorted. Lots of time to get to that point. Some additional picts. |
