Offered this 118238- Any obvious issues?

I've been offered a second chance at this 118238 after initially missing out.
Any obvious red flags?
Seems good but thought I'd throw it out for consensus.
Many thanks in advance. :-)

careful now a lot of those second chance are scams. contact the seller and ask to see it in person at a public place or police station / bank.

All of their feedback as a seller are for very small amount items. Then all of a sudden they are selling this Rolex? I don't like it at all....

Be carful a lot of guys build up there feedback with very low money items and then get someone for 20k once and disappear.

The watch does look nice though. For that price and if it's real I would do it.

Very true on the feedback, however I have like 91 100% on ebay and that took a LONG damn time.

Could always pay with Paypal, at least you would have some protection.

Amazing response as always people. Thank you. Will check it out in person before purchasing.
Serial number checks out. Any further advice? Been buying these for years but my first tread into eBay!
Much love troops.

when I buy on eBay, I use paypal and fund paypal with my visa card-not my savings account. That way if something goes wrong, there are more stop losses in place. Luckily I have never had to test my theory.

Even refurbished-watches-sold-as-"unworn" scam artists Motion-In-Time have 100% positive feedback. They also have fake positive reviews up elsewhere on the web.

Thread moved!

Questionable items should always be placed in the 'watchout' sub-forum, not in the Rolex general discussion area.

Yes, pictures look good, but seller has no big-ticket items in feedback. Strongly concur with others to pay only with paypal funded with credit card. Don't know what the transaction limit is in the UK but in the U.S. it's $10k max for paypal. Don't be persuaded to use multiple smaller paypal transactions; you lose protection that way. If it's more than the UK limit call Paypal; I understand that they can authorize larger single transactions (although haven't tried it myself)
