Smallest size for 8.25" wrist
For years I wouldn't buy or wear anything under 44mm. Actually liked larger watches and wore them more. Just passed on a SD43 and while I though the size was ok, it seemed really light in weight. My daily is an large Omega or a Deep Sea which is why. Anyone out there with 8" plus wrists wearing 42mm or smaller? I think it's just me that thinks they look small. Just checking as maybe I'm overthinking it and a 40mm or 42mm are just fine.

I do have an 8 inch wrist, and can wear the GMT Master IIs with ease, anything smaller most definitely not.
Also I just picked up a SD43 yesterday and it's a very beautiful piece and fits great. I feel its the ultimate Submariner, my Sub 41 does not get any wear (since I got the DSSD) and now definitely won't lol Pic for size comparison: |

I have 8'' wrists and wear a 36mm Datejust often.
It's not the size that matters, it's how you wear it. |

Legend has it he bought two BLNRs and stitched them together. Then ordered two extra links.

I have 8” wrists and wear 40 and 41mm. I did have the 44 James Cameron but I couldn’t get it to sit great on the wrist so I stick with my 40 and 41 stuff.

John Cena is a big time actor, been in about a dozen films, has also hosted Saturday Night Live and is a big supporter of Make A Wish Foundation, and a 16 time World Champ in wrestling, if you consider the WWE wrestling. Good guy and good actor.

I have a 8.1" wrist and don't have much issues with wearing smaller watches. In fact, I prefer smaller watches and don't like the chunk and heft on my wrist as much as I used to. For reference sake, I have owned 47mm PAM and also had DSSD in the past.
Some 36mm (in sports and dress) as reference: |

To each his own for sure. For me (only 7 3/4" wrist) I don't like anything under 38-39mm - but times change, style changes and some are ok with less.
Made me think about this photo I saved the other day. Wonder if anyone told him this looked small? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It just comes down to what you're comfortable with. There's guys with 6.5" wrists and smaller that only wear 44mm and larger. No rules.
