It's actually a 12-step program...

1. We admitted to being powerless over our horological lust.
2. Come to realize that nothing can restore our sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn every free time over to the pursuit of our Grail.
4. Abandoned all hope of being a one watch collector.
5. Admitted to being a WIS.
6. Wallow with giddiness in our obsession.
7. Humbly asked advanced collectors (enablers) for their opinions.
8. Maintain a list of fellow WIS to share your latest acquisitions.
9. Pass it on to the newly afflicted.
10. See watches everywhere.
11. Through research and watch forums learn more about even more expensive pieces.
12. Having an out-of-body experience upon achieving one's Grail only to fall back to earth. Then looking for that next Grail.

Congratulation on the new sub, and surely David is the man for step 1 and all subsequent ones ;)

#10 is especially true. I can't help pointing them out to my wife and she couldn't care less.
