Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!!

I'm hitting 30 this year and have decided to treat myself to my 1st Rolex. I've been to my local AD who is being super helpful even though I feel like I'm messing him around.

I'm looking at a date just with jubilee bracelet and diamond digits - this is the only bit I'm 100% on!

Firstly looked at 26mm but that looks way too small on my wrist. I'm leaning towards the 31mm as I think this is more timeless . . . but I like the 36mm too but realise this is more of a fashion statement than a forever watch (I'm working on the basis that I might only purchase 1 in my lifetime!).

My next dilemma is black or silver dial????? I first thought black but have now seen a silver dial which I like!

My AD has ordered both in so I can look at them side by side. I'm just soooo indecisive.

Also what % discount count I expect to negotiate with him???

Thanks

Gemma

Flip a coin,does that help,you`re welcome,not a problem,anytime.

I would try for a minimum 10-15% on the discount but it will really come down to the AD you`re dealing with, some will give discounts without hesitation others will virtually show you the door.

Good luck!

Gemma: There is a 31mm DJ which is nice should not go out of style and is bigger than the 29mm. I like the silver dials.

I went to Oyster World's website to look at dials and they have a silver dial in the 34mm Oyster date.

Ooh it might actually have been a 34mm not 36mm that I tried on!

Other than my car this will be my most expensive purchase ever - is it normal to take ages to decide??

For ladies the "the bigger the better" seems to be a current trend. I just don't want to end up 20 years down the line with a huge watch when the new trend is "smaller the better"

Guess it best to stick to personal preference and ignore trends??
