312 pics!!
hey guys could you please post some pics of your 312's next to other watches for sizing reference? (rolex, omega....) and maybe a profile of it beside the other marinas, just to see how the case design really differs?

question: is the 312 really *that* much bigger thant the Rolex DSSD? i think both of them are around 18mm thick. but the case of the 312 *seems* quite a bit bigger than the DSSD.

i think that is the eyes playing tricks on you. The 312 is so simple there are no other details to distract you from that big ass dial!. Human eye is not reliable
The physical feel of it is quite similar when i tried them on. |

They both fit me just about the same. The 312 fits well... for some reason. Maybe because it's supposed to wear big.

Trust me, you'll get easily acclimated to the 44mm size a PAM boasts...

I've tried both PAM312 & DSSD to my AD, to compare. And even if the case of the PAM is slightly thicker (44mm vs 43mm), it fitted better on my wrist. IMHO the caseback of the PAM has a better design than the Rolex so it fits better. |

I've had the DSSD and I traded for a 312 (since I already had the SD and I wore it more). The 312 is very comfortable and wears a little better than the DSSD, IMO. Of course it is hard to compare exactly as the 312 is on leather and the DSSD is on bracelet.

lol acuraelin, that DSSD is not mine. I explained in the original thread where I posted these pics that its a comparison with a friend's Rolex DSSD. Someone here had asked to see them side by side and I was able to illustrate. I am not a huge fan of the DSSD.

lol I was the same way, constant debate back n forth. Take the short pain and get the 320, I went with what was available to me first. |
