Tudor New BB58 Variations - A Home Run

Great work from Tudor, bringing out new BB58 versions with both the 5 link and Rubber strap options. These are going to be very popular offerings.

Tudor is working their magic, as a watch geek I'm far more excited about these than a PM SeaDweller, or another GMTII.

Think the coke gmt could have been better without the gilt and more attractive text layout and wording.

The BB58 Gmt coke on a jubilee bracelet would look amazing

I really feel like Tudor are giving the people what they want with their releases over the last couple of years.

They seem to be catering to the watch guy / girl that likes modern tech in either a modern package (Pelagos) or vintage inspired (BB58 old and new, BB54 etc).

What a time to be a watch geek!

Some really nice releases, better than Rolex and Patek for me. I really like the GMT and it has that nice gilt dial GMT feel and better size.

BB58GMT white dial on a Jubilee should have been a no-brainer. Also $32k solid gold Tudor? Not understanding the strategy on that one.

I dont know about the BB58 GMT. Looks thick.
12.8mm vs 11.9mm regular BB58.

edit: Still thinner than Black Bay Pro though!

Sounds a lot better than the BB Pro! I assume if it’s a new movement as their video suggests, the BB Pro may be updated with it in due course and released as a slimmer model.

Agreed. But then this makes it a little bit different. I am confused tbh. Need to look one in person

Not my favorite releases but that is OK. Everything does not have to be for everyone.

it's okay. they could have done a standard chrono pelagos or a gmt in the 39. i hope they do a pelagos 39 GMT.

overall in reviewing all brand releases not a single one matters to me. it is apparent that most brands just went for PM offerings.

patek hilariously brought back a quartz movement in a sport watch.

that said there will be at least two more tudors released this year. one in may/june and one in oct/nov.

They have to leave Rolex some room when they finally release a GMT Coke.

Love it, that bezel should patina beautifully. They listened about the thickness. Was saving for a BB58 blue, but might go this GMT route later this year once the prices cool down a bit.

I was just asking the forum about GMT alternatives and this new release might be the one. They thinned down the case which makes it much more appealing!

The GMT isn't a BB58, the BB GMT is it's own entity within the Black Bay line

There are so many sub ranges now within the BB range, it’s all very confusing

Certainly great to see the GMT in a smaller and slimmer case but think it should’ve been released in Pepsi colour way to match the original BB GMT. The red and black looks good, but not keen on the gilt. Maybe more colours will come further down the line similar to the original BB58…

Not sure who the solid gold model is aimed at? Haven’t seen anyone with the gold model on a strap which was released a few years back and can think of better options at that price point…

indeed and I wish they'd give them all different treatments too, for example it's disappointing the BB Chrono comes on the same faux rivet oyster bracelet as the BB58, 54, 41, 39 and GMT. It would be nice if they all were different from one another

someone like me after a few years and significant price reduction. the strap version goes for 9k used. if the solid bracelet hits 17-18k ill buy it.

The BB58 GMT is a home run. I’ll be a buyer when we get some new colorways…never been a fan of gilt.

BB58 GMT is a solid double. I'm just kinda over gilt-tone.

But this line has me really excited:

"...and you can choose your pick of either a three-link steel bracelet or a fitted rubber strap. Thankfully, both options include Tudor's T-Fit tool-less bracelet extension." T-Fit on rubber is a hit (for me).

I think Tudor does the monochrome look really good. The old BB Steel, and this new 41 look killer. I'd be down for the BB58 GMT adopting that color scheme. Or burgundy and silver.

The rubber/bracelet option on the BB58 GMT is great. Hate Gilt.
