GMT 16710-3186 STICK and AIR KIng deal

I saw an ad for a Rolex Air King serie A and I got agree with seller to meet him.He chose the place in one neighborhood in Miami,I met him and bought the watch with box, paper, catalogues, certificate and watch in mint condition for 1500.00,it happens that 4 blocks from that place there is a TRADE JEWELRY CENTER with many booths, they sell all kind of high class watches and rings, etc I stop by a booth when I saw a Rolex RED submarine and started talking to the guys(2 of them) of course talking about rolex. They offered me 9000.00 for each of the GMT stick that I had, went to my home and return,SOLD THEM.I know I won today with these 2 watches for I think in the long run (1 year or two) I lost,by the way I saw in another booth a Daytona 2001 in 12000 brand new and Milgauss black brand new in 6900.00
GMT were 1 pepsy and one coke, thanks to all for reading this.

Just to make sure, is this the watch you're talking about that you sold for 9 large???? Not this exact watch, but the same model, etc.

WOW, you did good for yourself, it will take 40 years for a GMT II to be worth $9000. Seriously, did they know anything about watches, anyway, congrats, you made quite a profit.

Geesh, where are these people? I have a 16710 with stick GMT || markers I need to sell and $9000 is over double what I was expecting. Unless I am completely missing something here this is very weird.

Dude, those guys burned you big time

I would not have taken anything less than $12,000 each. Live and learn.
