Fake or real Rolex

Hi Guys, my girlfriend for my birthday bought me a Rolex from a rather stabilised dealer in London “goldsmiths”. She told me she got it for around 4,000 and i was quite surprised once I saw it as it was beautiful. Since reading up on Rolex though I’ve had a few red flags and before I go to her to tell her she might have just spent 4,000 pounds of her hard earned money on a fake I’d love if you guys could help me out and give your honest and brutal deliberations on the authenticity

Based on the pictures you sent, I'd have to say you need to have it xray'd, & a thermo scan done

Hi and welcome! You're new and I guess having problems uploading your photos. What the other guys are trying to say is that we can't see any photo here at all. You might want to try again. Or maybe try using Tapatalk app to upload. I use that app whenever I want to post photos here.

Hello,

Hello and welcome, you now find yourself in good company, to begin with Im also in England and Im familiar with Goldsmith's the watch dealers, check that you have a receipt and if it was purchased on credit card, at the time of purchase there would have been an insurance quote check this also as it would have mention a serial ref number that is on the watch case, between the lugs, this can be check out with Rolex. out of interest what model was it? all the best "H"

I think he means the watch came from an established dealer in Hatton Garden, which is London's jewelry district, and similar to New York's 47th Street.

Since there is no photo, and the original poster has evaporated, I think the point might be moot . . .
