My New Rolex Daytona

Well, I am new to the forum and I can see it is very active by the number of posts. I am looking forward to learning more about Rolex's and contributing.

I just got my Rolex Daytona TT, with Yellow Gold, White Dial - V Series. I purchased the watch from a local Authorized Dealer after getting a better idea of the prices. The dealer was very accommodating and I am happy with the price and the service. I really like having the dealer a few miles away from my house.

Box green box is very nice. Do you use the box on a daily basis or store it away for safe keeping?

I am looking forward to many years with the watch, and it will join my Brietling and Tag, but will take center stage.

Rodney

Rodney,

Welcome to TRF.

Beautiful choice... love the white dial as it pops on the TT Daytona.

Put the box away for safe keeping as it is part of the value of the commodity you own.

Welcome Rodney. Very nice choice. I use my box to store my watches when I am not wearing them. The box is of value, so you want to safe-keep it.

Congrats, the TT Daytona is a wonderful looking watch. Too bad it's under appreciated by most.

As for the box, mine go into the closet never to be seen again.

For me owning a Rolex was always a dream. Now I get to tie the Dayonta my other passon/hobby of auto racing. I am not going to win 24 of LeMans or Daytona, but am fortunate to purchase such a special timepiece. The 3rd picture of the watch from the original post is on the Wing my "race car". I like how the weave on the carbon fiber highlights the watch.

Looks like I will be keeping the box in a safe location. I like the idea of taking it out annually or for special occasions.

Thanks again for welcoming me to TRF and the praise.
