I have the 233 as well and am thinking of adding the DSSD too. How does it wear compared to the 233? I had a GMTIIc and it didn't feel right.

To be honest I forget how the 233 felt but I believe it laid flatter on the wrist and was more comfortable. If you didn't like the GMTIIc I really don't think you will like the DSSD.

You still don't have it? This is crazy, for a defect on a brand new watch they should IMO give you a new one, not make you wait 2 months or fix it ASAP, I mean how hard can it be to fix a quick release button, really worried about when I'm going to have to send mine in for service… Good luck

Good Afternoon Brian, "Please be advised that your estimate states the service will take 7 weeks from the date of your approval and you approved the work on 1/31. That puts the repair at 4 ½ weeks and leaves us with 2 ½ for the completion. We do appreciate your patience." So the 3 weeks they took to decide to actually warranty my new watch is not counted and is supposedly when I authorized them to fix the defect |

If possible, send your watch PASC via your AD. I've done that, twice, and gotten my watches back in 4 weeks (for complete service) and 2 weeks (broken click mechanism).

Unfortunately there are zero AD's near me so I sent it directly to their service center as directed by Panerai customer service when contacting them orginally.

Sweet, good to see it back on your wrist.
Hoping that it stays there for a long time. Cheers and thanks for the update.

That's great news Love the straps, great photos
I actually mentioned this post elsewhere and mentioned the fact that after reading about your issue I was getting a little paranoid changing my own straps... . I did some calculations though and I must have swapped out straps on my 233 over 180x in the last 20mths (just this week, three different straps!) So I think you just got dealt a bad hand... . What did the return-letter from RSC say? I mean, "case change ... $0.-" ??? Same movement, rear-bezel etc? Everything tip-top (dial, hands, etc)? There was a post just yesterday about RSC Texas shipping back a PAM ... to the wrong address... Crazy stuff, man...
