GMT II Bracelet question

New owner of a GMT II. Question about adjusting the band. I do not use the fliplock feature. I need to have the band shortened a little, what position should the fliplock be in if I am never going to use it? Does it matter? Thanks for any help.

I assume you're referring to the 'easy link' as opposed to fliplock - theflip lock if the 'keeper' you fold over once you've fastned the bracelet.

IMO I would have the easy link closed (i.e. shorter setting) for the comfortable fit, and then if/when your wrist swells in heat (or due to excessive eating LOL) you can simply open the link.
