Oakley SMALL Watch Vault is back!
After what has been a LONG out of stock period, the Oakley SMALL Watch Vault is available to order again!
I just purchased 3 of them. Oakley's site says Ships in 14 business days. Can't wait to receive it - I've heard so many good things. http://www.oakley.com/women/products/1333/3043

Oakley has some cool watches, but the ones I like are over $1k at the outlet store, not going to pay that much for a watch made by a sun-glass company.

FYI, I own both the Oakley and the Casebud. Oakley vaults consistently open. The zipper separates when you zip it up. Meaning as you zip the part behind after you zip opens up. I have never had it happen on my Casebuds! Just my two cents I will not be purchasing Oakley vaults only Casebud! Take my opinion as a grain of salt!

Tom, I have numerous Oakleys and have never had any problem. Are you possibly placing a watch that is too large for the case in there? This is the first negative thing that I've ever heard about them, other that up until now no one can get them without paying scalpers prices on the bay.

These really are pretty cool. I have two - use one for traveling and keep one in my golf bag.
They are a perfect watch accessory in my opinion. Thanks for the heads up! |

I purchased two a while back in Syracuse Carousel Mall. I've used it quite frequently and never had any issues. They have the large vaults for sale on the Standard Issue site (for DOD) for 12 bucks. They don't have the small at this time. When they do I'll likely pick up a few more.

Just ordered 3 of them. Once these are gone it's certainly possible we never see them again since they are ending the sale of ladies watches. Thought I'd better stock up now.

From what I've read on the forums, the SMALL version is ideal for most Rolex model and offers a snug/compact fit (preventing the watch from moving around inside). The LARGE, while also able to handle any Rolex model, is more ideally suited for watches with big cases (think DSSD or Panerai with cases 44mm+).

Here are the dimensions of the Oakley Small Watch Vault: - Inside diameter looks to be a hair under 3" at the widest point - Outside diameter approximately 3 1/4" also at the widest point - Outside, Top to Bottom dimension at the highest point (the front), approximately 2" The small seems to be a perfect size, for all my watches, including the Tudor Heritage Chrono @ 42mm (Top), and the Tudor Black Bay @ 41mm (Bottom), pictured below (I tried to show pictures somewhat closed, and then almost closed, partially zippered, showing how they fit a 41mm and a 42mm watch (hope they are helpful)….. Also, I cut out a small square of a ShamWow cloth, and place it in the middle, as shown below, to minimize extraneous movement within the Oakley Small Watch Vault, when carried in your pocket, a carry on, or a briefcase….plus, the ShamWow works nicely to remove fingerprints, and light dirt/grime. Side by side (small on the left, large on the right) I have at one time or another had all my watches in a Small Oakley Watch Vault, as NONE of my watches are over 42mm. Get those Small Oakley Watch Vaults while you can. Clearly, some are in transit, but how many is the question. They already have hundreds of paid backorders, which will be filled first, so don't delay.....buy what you need for now and the foreseeable future, just in case..... Hope this is helpful.....and good luck to all who are wanting these!
