Yup I've been checking that thread, he will crack the code if Rolex give him half a chance.

As a lefty I'm perpetually amazed by the bitterness and hate that Rolex releasing a single destro model can create. As if it's the greatest wrongdoing a company can do, and righties are entitled to having every single watch their way.

It won't be discontinued. The watch being a freak specialty is just an illusion in the haters' heads. Rolex tested the waters with Tudor LHD that was immensely popular, and Patek followed suit soon after the VTNR release. Learn to live with the fact that there are (roughly) 2 ways a crown can point, and finally both are available.

It’s discussed in this thread if you read it. Using the letter O in the reference numbers instead of the numeric character 0 (zero) is a telltale sign.

I don’t care if the GMT is red and blue or black and red - if they don’t fix the case shape, I’m not interested. Not on my list right now anyway, but if I ever want a GMT watch I’d rather go with the Tudor or a 5-digit Rolex. The modern ones look horrible.

Only way I’d be interested in any new GMT is if they made the dial area a little bigger. This would make the watch more easily readable and not look as cluttered. Otherwise, meh….

Rolex might shake up the gmt line this year by discontinuing both the BLRO & BLNR, first for production issues and the second as it near the end of its life cycle (10 years) in this case the BLNR could be more sought after / desirable in the long run

On second thought, Rolex might keep things as is

I really have any idea what they are going to do. It’s fun chasing rumors down, and seeing who got lucky with their guesses.

Not a prediction, but it wold be cool if:

Red line Sub in Ti (no date)
“Officially” make a Blueberry GMT
Apply lume in the bezels in the sports line
SS Day Date in 41mm

Tudor:
A new version of the Big Block
Rework the Pelagos with a fresh look
Crown Guards on the BB

I don’t think the Pepsi will get the axe, maybe send it back to PM only

Sprite (LHD) gone…

Old funky dials (celebration/puzzle) shelved with new funky dials

YMMV…regardless, I believe this site, as well as others will have fits of disgust , then turn those new releases they hated into hype.

Gotta love the rumor mill!

Cheers, Jim

After giving this a little more thought... I predict Rolex will release 1-2 watches that will kick ass, and 4-5 others that will bore me. And... here's the kicker... I won't be able to get any of them for at least a year.

Well if it's anything like the past 20 plus years nothing to get excited about. You could count on one hand the 100% new models,as most are just cosmetically changed old ones.
