116610LV with LN bezel insert.

I was over at an AD 30mins ago and thought to myself as i tried on both the Hulk and LN. Then i thought to myself, what if the LN bezel was on the LV itself? wouldnt that make it the ultimate submariner rolex to date?

think about it - 50th anniversary 16610LV appeal ( just inside out -dial being green ofcourse), 116610LN sexy black ceramic bezel and the 116610LV green gold maxi dial.

Did anyone in TRF did this mod before? Curious to find out and most importantly........

PICS!!

Cheers,
Jon.

Lets get things perfectly straight the 116610LV dial is not solid gold its just coated very similar to a PVD coating. And if you could do that mod if you could get hold of the insert. It would be quite expensive for the insert plus you must have special tools to to change them its not a DIY job.

Interesting but I'd have to pass. I like the LVC the way it is originally.

I actually own the 116610LN and if anything wouldn't mind slapping a green bezel insert to make it look like the 50th anni only with a ceramic upgrade :P
