Icon7 A Visit to AP Boutique = My First AP (Pic Heavy!)

I had a great time at the AP boutique yesterday, wonderful experience ogling over a few pieces before deciding on my very first AP.

Thanks to all who responded to my previous thread here http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=502077

I had contemplated on getting an AP in my upcoming trip to London next week but upon further consideration, I’ve decided to just get one at home especially since I was dead set on getting a blue dial.
Also the 5 years warranty is a bonus, an added peace of mind.

Sorry, the photos from my phone do not really do justice to these fine timepieces.

A couple of ROOs

Purchasing my first but already decided that the either the Navy Blue or the Safari is going to be my next!

RO Blue vs ROC Blue

You just have to see the blue dial in person to really appreciate the color and how it reflects under different lighting

Stainless Blue vs Rose Gold Blue

It really is beautiful. And the weight of gold, my oh my….

I’m really not a YG/RG guy. All these years, I never could see myself wearing a Rolex YG/RG but for this one I would definitely make an exception (if I can afford one in the future, that is! )

Thank you so much for sharing! What boutique was this?

Congrats on the beautiful new piece! I picked up a black dial 15400 in March and I am in love.

You get yourself in PP and Rolex boutiques too as you take great shots! Many congrats, nearly all of them looked good on you! Love the petrol diesel blue of the 400.

Great pics and excellent choice. I have a business trip coming up to NYC and I'm hoping to squeeze in a trip to the boutique while I'm there. The blue dials are awesome. I have a black dial 15400...you think adding a blue is too redundant?

Great watch. Was debating the 15400 rose gold blue dial, which is amazing in real life (dial is darker blue than the 15400 steel blue dial), but the bracelet is so strikingly gold I decided not to pull the trigger. Having some second thoughts though...

I thought it was darker too, shame as I think the 400's petrol blue is a winner.

Thanks.

It's the AP Boutique in Kuala Lumpur.

If there never was a blue option, I would have gotten the black dial as well.
Enjoy yours
