A classic: my 4711 blue
A drop on my handkerchiefs, a splash on my hands, my grandmother's house -- all entropically gone but fondly remembered since the long-gone days of childhood.
An icon in its own right.

I'll have to take your word for it on the cologne, but definitely an icon watch to go with it!
Maybe once I have my 5711 I can add a red/blue combo pic...my daughter liked the Polo Red enough when smelling a sample in a magazine while at the orthodontist, she talked my wife into buying it for me. You can see how picky I am

4711 cologne has been produced since 1799, and is a classic. the 5711 is also a classic, of course. I found it funny given the 711 commonality. I should have taken the photo in front of a 7/11 come to think...
