AP bracelet to strap conversion?

Hi,

If you want to convert a bracelet model like the chrono or ROO to a strap, do you use the top link pieces off the bracelet or do to have to purchase them? Doesn't look like they come off the bracelet from my observation. I thought I saw somewhere there was a TRF member who was selling them?

Thanks

The links don't come off, you'll need to get a conversion kit. It can be sourced from AP or you can get and aftermarket one from APbands.

Not sure of the cost, but I think the adapters are only available in precious medals. That being said, expensive.

They definitely do not come off the bracelet. I got mine directly from AP in NYC. You need the plots and screws. Those along with a strap and deploy cost over $1,100 from AP but it was worth it...while I had it. It's a very easy DIY job.
