FS: Tudor Oysterdate Chronograph 79260
Hi ,
I have up for sale my 79260 Tudor Pretiger oysterdate Chronograph. Notice the dial is oysterdate not prince date. This is the transitional model with Rolex signed crown and case back. After this model Tudor began using Tudor signed crowns and case backs along with different style bracelets. This 79260 has the original oyster bracelet ref78400 with ref605 endpieces. It has the modern Daytona case versus the slab sided Big block. Some collectors prefer this model as it has modern Daytona case unlike Big blocks. The clasp is signed Tudor. These are increasingly becoming harder to find and prices are climbing. Overall condition is 85% + with slight blemish on bezel insert at 1 o'clock and a Very slight blemish on crystal at 1 o'clock. Watch is in unpolished original condition. No deep scratches or dings anywhere. Get the feel of a vintage 6263 without spending 30k. Pm me if you have additional questions. Watch only. Bump At 11:14 in the video it shows the 79260 oysterdate dial with the modern Daytona curve side case. Last of the Direct lineage Rolex/Tudor Pre tiger Chronograph models featuring Rolex signed crowns and casebacks . A future classic and very hard to find. |
