Good Problem to have

A few months ago I purchased a Hulk from DavidSW. and it hasn't left my wrist since. (First Rolex)

I was also in love with the white EXPII and the BLNR and I think I'll pick one of those up in the next coming months.

Heres the problem:

I don't want to take the LV off my wrist. I love it. I feel like I'd be cheating on her if i got another.

How do I transition to two watches. Will that feeling pass? How do I break it to her?

Wait a little longer for the honeymoon to die out before getting another watch. I like to wait 4-5 years then I don't feel like I'm cheating. LOL.

I felt the same way when I bought my LVc two years ago, especially since it was my first Rolex but the feeling subsides. I've since acquired two more but it's still my favorite.

just do what i do... a roster lol! i have 5 rolexes(my father has borrowed one),a tudor and a panerai and i dont like to play favourites so i sat them down and told them i'd make it fair.
They all get 1 day a week and when i get a AP he gets the 7th day.

everyone is happy....... (except my Tag Heuer,SINN and omega lol)

I got my SubC and my Pepsi the same week and I'm going through honeymoon with both at the same time. I end up switching watch when I get home for the evening and usually alternate on a daily basis :P

But I mostly go by what I'm wearing.

BLNR is an upgrade. Not cheating at all.

That's what I do, wear watches on a given weekly rotation

There's your answer. You don't need a second watch...yet. You'll know if and when you do.

You will get over it once you have more than one. The rotation game is fun too! Congratz in advance on the next one. I'm pulling for the BLNR but a white dial Explorer II would be great too!

The LV won't mind since Christmas and St Patrick's day is only
once a year ...

2 days for the LV and 363 days for the BLNR or
116613lb Sunburst Bluesy Sub to enhance the
Journey ... Best of success...

I agree. Enjoy that feeling of contentment, it's rare enough among us WIS types. I wish I could go back to those happy old days when all I needed was my 14060.

Dont worry. Its pretty normal. I think everyone of us here had been through the same stage before :P

My first rolex was a vintage 16013 Datejust. Finally saved up for a 16613 Two Tone Submariner. Always wanted the Bluesy with sunburst dial but ended up getting the black TT because the blue was rare. Although it was a great achievement and i really love the watch, the satisfaction was still a little incomplete. In the end i found a dealer who was selling a blue 16613 made in the same year and he wasnt willing to trade because he could sell it for the same price. Managed to convince him (or should i say bribed him) with a $1000 "Coffee money". He is still doing a business and i think its not practical for him to just trade it. Anyway,

I know you might think its totally stupid of me because i could have just sold my black TT for the SAME price and get the blusy without topping up at all but i think it was a pretty good deal. The black TT hadnt been service and the crystal is after market while the Blusy i traded for was just serviced 2 month ago and Rolex replaced the crystal. Even if i traded it i would have spent $1000 on RSC anyway :) good deal, 100% satisfaction and eye candy seeing it on my wrist everyday

Absolutely been there lol

I found if my next watch shared similarities or was less appealing in my eyes to the first then it didn't get much wrist time anyways and made it to the chopping block.

So...... my recco is to make sure that second is strikingly different, offers different use/features or could be worn in other situations/attire than the first and they'll coexist seamlessly, painlessly and harmoniously.

Keep the LV where it is, and wear the new watch on the other wrist.

I would personally not entertain buying a piece if I was extremely content with what I was currently wearing. Fortunately I am never content and just keep taking the plunge.

The beauty of watches is that you can cheat and two and three time, and still keep your house.

The BLNR is a smooth talker. It'll talk it's way in with the LV and the two sibling will live happily ever after.

Don't worry about it. You will know how to deal with them well after you buy the second one.
