Great to hear from you Greg Yup man I just cant seem to take it off my wrist. I think thats what Rolex really was shooting for, that everyday banger appeal, be you at work or in a tux it sure does it all eh? Have a great day Greg-o Dan |

Beautiful photos, I just dont like the blocky 'cheddar cheese' coloured orange batons on the GV... perhaps without them, i could tolerate the lightening bolt. I would get one if they hadnt put those orange markers on at 3, 6 & 9.
Not my cup of tea. IMO pale orange on white makes the other dial looked washed out and unrefined. Very harsh criticism, but it is merely my opinion - doesnt mean to say that this view is right Still, very cool (GV) - great to see, but wouldnt own one for the reasons above. |

decided to put on the GV this morning before heading out to the auction. Caught myself checking the GV out plenty of times.
Love the GV and loving this illness.... |

Some nice photos in this thread. I'd love to own a black faced (non green glass) Milgauss sometime in my life.

Nah - it's gone.... Kept the YG GMTIIc instead and then got sick of it too, so that's gone as well... Actually, the only Rolex I own now is the GV. Looking for a DSSD at a decent price, but nothing yet.

Greg,
I have to admit, the Milgauss has been one of the most least desired Rolex's on my list. Recently it has been growing on me and now after seeing this Milgauss love revitilazation thread I am beginning to have an attraction to the Milgauss......... I WANT THE WHOLE SET - MOE LARRY & CURLY! -Frankie |

The Milgauss has finally grown on me. Just trying to decide on the Black Dial or the Milgauss GV.

I love the Milgauss! I had a tough time choosing the GMT IIC over it, but I would love to get one in the future. I agree that it is one of the cleanest-look Rollies out and they look sooooo nice on the wrist! Awesome pics!

I read in the leading watch magazine that the Milgauss movement is considered by many watchmakers as one of the best movements ever made for a watch. On the other hand, I spoke to a watchmaker at my local AD and he said that he sees more Milgauss' in for technical issues than any other model Rolex. For that reason, I went with the GMT IIC and haven't regretted it. I would still consider a Milgauss in the future.

I love that watch, I only used one GV
the other 3 are for collection, I know in 10 years or so it will be worth at least the same price I paid and I have fun collecting them.

Does anyone know if the Black dial Milgauss and the GV Milgauss have the same matte black background color? Thanks in advance!
