And Nico Rosberg takes it.

Although I would have much rather seen Hamilton take it ...

I think it's sad that the driver who has won the most races and won today without even trying comes away as the loser.

Yes I'm a little bitter.

Glad Nico won. Poor gamesmanship from Hamilton slowing down despite being instructed to speed up by the team in order that the cars behind could catch Nico and maybe cause him to get involved in an overtaking tussle and crash out, leaving Hamilton to speed away and take the championship.

I understand your bitterness and I agree that Hamilton may be the better driver of the 2. However, it's hard to have empathy with Hamilton after slowing down for the last third of the race.
Dirty tricks and complaining about your own bad luck does not go together well.

Lewis wins without being a contracted No.1 with a team mate who is required to move over. Schumacher had a dedicated test team just for his Bridgestone Tyres, which were in a class of there own during his Ferrari days. Senna had qualifying engines and spare T Cars if anything went wrong with his race car. Lewis has won all his races without these advantages. No comparison. Also Senna and Schumacher both had dirty streaks in them, and not afraid to deliberately take other drivers out in order to win World Championships. Lewis gets flack for driving slowly but still winning. No contest.
