Create Your Own Custom Rolex
THis should be interesting. If you were given the opportunity to go inside the Rolex factory in Geneva and have them custom make you the watch of your choice what would you have them design for you? I personally would keep it somewhat simple - a TT DJ but instead of 18K yellow gold I would want white gold. I never understood why they only made the white gold bezel and all stainless. If the center linkls were white gold I think it would shine even more. Oh well, one can always wish

I'd be changing the bracelet on the Explorer to PCL, change the clasp to the new style clasp, and change the Rolex crown to be ingraved and not painted =]

I would add 3-6-9 to the Sub no date, and use the crown at the 12oclock.

My change would be for the entire sport line....and be permanent! I would go back to matte dials sans the WG surrounds on the sport models.

I would put a date wheel on the Milgauss (No cyclops though, have it like the SD) as well as have brushed center links
Also, If I can have one more choice, I would have one of the new GMT'S with a pepsi ceramic and brushed center links as well! |

Check this out:http://www.projectxdesigns.com/details1_product-2.html Apologies if I am restating anything that has already been posted. The all black ones look pretty good, I reckon. |

I would have them make a Day Date, white dial, stick markers, but all in stainless steel, with the President band also in steel.

For me the GMTIIC Two Tone is perfect. However, I would like one other Rolex . . .
44 MM Daytona With a date function And a GMT hand. Maybe I should just go buy an Omega Broad Arrow |

GMT II C with red 24 hour hand, red writing and ceramic pepsi bezel.....
(I also think the lume applied to the Exp 3, 6 and 9 would be a leap, can never figure out for the life of me why it was never done)

I'd like to have a 34mm with a two-tone California dial, with the half-Roman, half-Arabic face like the vintage bubblebacks had. And the dial colors would be... let's see... cream in the center and aqua on the outer portion. The numbers would be cream - and have lume, of course! And an oyster bracelet, probably.

A stainless steel, 43mm Blue Sub would be my first choice. Next would be a S/S 40mm Explorer.

Blue Sub in SS for me.
That's my dream watch, as I cannot justify the WG Blue Sub. |
