Anyone own the breitling Superocean Heritage 42?

Hi Guys,

So I'm thinking of adding this to my small collection, in the blue dial/bezel finish.

Just wanted to hear from owners, if any, what this watch is like. I'm going out to the AD tomorrow to go and check it out, but wanted some background info before I go and see it.

Thanks for reading and look forward to your replies.

M.

I have one green bezel, with black dial, very comfortable and change the bracelet out sometimes for a crocodile strap.
I like having it in my rotation

I have the 46 chrono in my collection which couples well with a DJ2. I think it is a versatile watch albeit a flashy one with the mesh band. I have the breitling deployment clasp rubber band as well which is very comfortable and also flies under the radar. It really depends on taste. I found the 42 to be a bit small for my arm size for the type of watch for some reason. But I think it is a great watch for the price considering you can get a very clean used 42 in the 2500$ range easily.

So is it part of your collection now?

I love the mesh bracelet. The looks and comfort are terrific - one of the best in my opinion!

Looks great pulls hair worse than any watch I have ever tried.
I tried it on and walked around the AD and imitated normal day to day movement. I found that the hair on my wrist got pulled allot more than I cared for. Personal choice for me but I passed on the mesh.
I wear a croc strap on my favorite Brietling and love it. With that blue head add the blue croc. Wow..LOL

Interesting - I have not experienced that. I think the mesh is unique and looks great. I guess we shall enjoy our particular tastes!

If you wear watch long enough wrist goes bald then pulling not issue?
