Pam 328
Hey guys, I am looking for feedback and thoughts on a 328. I have an opportunity to pick one up from a friend and was hoping to hear feedback from owners.
Anyone give me any insight on it as well as real world street value? |

if you want a metal bracelet, the 328 is a fine choice, but, for me, i wouldn't pay the premium for the bracelet, since straps are such an important part of the PAM experience. therefore, if you like the 1950s-style case and dial of the 328, but want to save some money and not pay for the bracelet, look for a pre-owned 312.
as for value, despite its many flaws, i would look to chrono24 to get a sense of value, or see listings on p.com. |

Hmmm, what do you think the idea Pam is? I'll look at what you recommended, I'm a Rolex guy at heart so I am not fimiliar with all the models... I tend to think most look alike as well.

A 312 is automatic - thicker than most PAMS, but has the quick change strap systems. A Godsend Vs. unscrewing / screwing in your straps IMO. A a 510 is a winder. Lots of PAM DNA in a basic model. I would have one, but got a 312 after selling a 111 (the 412 precursor). |

Well, imagine someone unfamiliar with Rolex asks you what is the "ideal Rolex". There's no easy way to respond other than to go to an AD and try as many as you can. Also learn about discontinued models to see if something grabs you. |
