Depends, if your patients are sick, they won't notice.....

If they are fee paying patients and they do notice, then they will think that you are either good at your job or ripping them off ;o)

Do what you want. I have nothing but respect for people that take pride in themselves and like exquisite time pieces and patients will not care what you wear providing that they get treated with dignity and respect by what they consider to be a good Dr.

My wife calls my SS Daytona, "The Rolex that doesn't look like a Rolex." That should answer your question, which I'm surprised you are asking anyway.

I want my doctor to wear a Plat Daytona. I want the guy that's REALLY successful, really confident and good at what he does (and have good taste in watches).

As you are a doctor, I wouldn't see a rolex as opulent at all. That being said, I'm a watch geek and have no idea what watches my doctors wear...

I spent a lot of time working in a hospital. Rolexes were very common. As far as surgeons, all of them remove their watches and rings before surgery.

As a matter of interest, for health reasons, doctors in UK hospitals within the National Health Service, watches are not worn whilst on duty.

My son who worked for some years in the NHS now no longer wears a watch 24/7!
The habit of watch wearing has completely vanished, although he has a few, but not Rolex.
Have often thought of buying him Rolex, but I much doubt he would wear it. Well, at least he will have my two, an Exp39mm Mk1 & SubC, when I am gone!

It's a rule, not a choice.

I typically wear a GMT Coke but occasionally wear a Sub. Nobody notices or cares. I spend the majority of my time at work, if I didn't wear my Rolexes at work I would rarely see them.

Most patients seem to wear blinged out cheap watches which are way flashier than any Rolex. As far as a Daytona goes, I think only a WIS would know it's a Rolex.

I wear a Rolex everyday....most often my BLNR or Smurf, although today I am wearing my Sub. The only one I haven't worn to work is my DD40.

Go ahead and wear it....doubtful many will even notice.

I rotate between a BLNR, white stainless Daytona, black ceramic Daytona and Panerai 243. I don't see an issue with it.

Patients don't seem to pay attention to the stainless Daytona. When I started private practice more than a dozen years ago, I was wearing a black face Daytona. I wore it non stop for 6 years. Never an issue.

I know we all can spot a Rolex, but the fact is most people will have no what it is, let alone that its a Rolex.

I work with more than a few WIS

It's not unusual to see Rolex, Omega, JLC and even a stray AP at work.
PP and VC don't seem to be paired with a white coat frequently, however

The 16233 was a daily wearer for more than a decade, but then I discovered TRF.......it was flipped
No regrets

Just leave the timer hand running

I think my patients agree with this. I wear my Gold Sub or Gold AP everyday to the office and quite a few patients will discuss watches with me. I do cosmetic hair transplant surgery so most of my patients are guys.

I am only a Muscular Therapist

Wear my daytona and others (rotate weekly) to work

Been wearing only S/S Rolex since 1985, not one of my patients has ever spoken to me about it!

I like it that way!

If my MD was wearing a Daytona I would make sure I kept them as my doctor. This shows good decision making in its purest form.

I expect my Dr to have a nice watch and a nice car, preferably with an Alumni bracket from a very prestigious medical university. Just me.
