Am I right to be mad a r.l.x. ?

r.l.x. had a Rolex clasp I needed for $70. I told him I would take it through a PM..he responded with his paypal account and total shipped. When I received his PM the next morning I sent the payment. When I logged on later tonite my payment was refunded with a note saying I was to late

I paid in a timely manner. I think that was a crappy thing to do. I really needed that clasp

he sent the PM with info on Nov 1 9:30 AM and I paid Nov 1 8:30PM when I returned home

I think that sucks especially when he PM'd you his account to paypal.

He should have at least waited 24 hours......I would be mad too.

Next time, just make it a priority to send money out....with the internet and forums out there...deals are done faster now.

If the abovementioned dealer doesn't appreciate your business, you should move on and find someone who does. Try Steve Mulholland - he can find any part for you!

I`m not going to loose sleep over it.

I just drove 12hr straight today,got home and logged onto the web and saw my payment was refused. I was even discussing it with my wife on the ride home how glad I was to get the clasp..I had her get the watch out of the glove box and show her what I was talking about

I did try Steve, he was $250 for a clasp and the other guy was $70. I`m still considering Steve but I was hoping to spend a little less

Mike - just remember, you get what you paid for. I would use Steve in a heartbeat, he is a trusted seller and you WILL get the clasp you're looking for!

Im might be wrong probably he might be selling to couple of guys..and probably along the way he was in a situation that he had to sell it face to face or maybe just decided to keep it...It happens...I have guys whos ready to pay me and hold them the watch for a day or 2 and after that they would not respond back...it happens im just prepared for it...like what they said "dont count the eggs before it hatched"...
