I like both, and currently have a Hulk. Love it. But, I think the black dialed model is a bit more versatile.

It's not that I don't like green, and I know it's Rolex official color. However for some reason I associate the green color with golf... It feels like a golfer's watch.

Black, no contest. Green is nice but black comes first for me.

You can never beat a classic model. The new 114060 is a perfect modern rendition of a classic design

Black is a "classic" goes with anything, versatile etc
I voted hulk as I love a bit of colour in my watch collection. Most of my watches are hulk, bluesy Coke/Pepsi etc. The only dial I bought that was plain was the silver baton DJ which was a gift. |

I have both. I wear the LN much more frequently, but, if I could only have one, I would choose the LV.

The black dial Sub. for me.
I'm not a big fan of green watches and black goes with anything. |

I chose green when I bought my LVc. I love it and have absolutely no regrets.
If I ever to get a black sub it will be a 114060 (sub with no date). Both are great. I'm half thinking however, that if buying a black diver I will get a SD because I have a Sub already in the LVc. Good luck with your choice. GO to an AD and try them both on. If you still can't make up your mind go back in a couple of days. Keep trying until your happy. Buying a Sub you can easily reverse any mistake you may make in your initial choice but it would be nice to get it right the first time.

My buddy had a hulk that he flipped but I thought it was beautiful. With that said I went with the black because it's the watch I fell in love with years ago. I voted green however because I'm thinking hard about adding it to my growing collection for a little color. I don't think you can go wrong with either!

I think it all depends on how often you'll wear each watch. If it's for a lot of use I'd go black. If it's only for every so often then the hulk would be good.
I also wouldn't make your decision based on others opinions. After all its your money and you'll be wearing the watch so you have to be happy with the decision and watch you buy |

I have an LV-c and a 114060. I found that, after the brilliant green dial of the LV, the black was a little 'dour'. Indeed, I ended up sourcing a blue bezel from a 116619 and turned it in to a 'Shark' just to add some colour.
If I could only have one it would be the LV hands down. |

That Hulk is beautiful. My next Rolex was going to be nice day/date for when I dress up for dinner and nights out. But I think I will have to get a Hulk. Screw it, another sub. LOL

I'm fortunate enough to have both and love both. But if forced to choose one, I'd take the black. Why?
1) Traditional Sub color 2) A bit more versatile for my tastes 3) A little lower profile (not as noticeable) Good luck!

If you can only have one then it's the black one (goes with everything, etc) but as a 2nd watch I'd get the LV... but that's just me.

Black is dark, subdued, and traditional...yet remains a benchmark, a standard.
Green is lively, robust and fun, and breaks the mold a little....yet it's not too "loud" Which are you? What kind of situations will you encounter with this watch Easy choice once you answer those questions. |

I had the LV and wore it daily for 1 year. I liked the watch but after about 10 months it was just too damn green. The green really started to annoy me, specifically the color of the bezel. What do I wear now? I have worn daily a black SubC for 1.5 years now and have zero regrets. It just works in ways that the hulk does not.
